There are many types of data centers based on requirements and needs of an enterprise. Managing and maintaining data center is an expensive task, the cost associated with it may depend on the choice of data center.

Enterprise Data Center is one of the most common data centers. The company builds, maintain and owns the data center by itself. Some companies opt to have their data center at corporate campus and some build it. Enterprise data center is a time taking and expensive data center. It is not an efficient way to utilize the capital.

Co-location Data Center 

Co-location data centers are deprived from managed services, the companies choose to outsource some functions of data center to gain expertise, keeping the control in business’s hands. This type of data center provide with networking equipment, space, power, server, storage and connect them with network service provider in possible minimum cost.
